Last night was another great one in the park. Chronic Jester plays alot of reggae and rock/blues. Their music, mixed with the salt air and wine, made for a great evening hanging out with friends and family. Skye even found a wayward crustacean to join our group. If you get the chance, go to a Thursday evening in the park. You won't regret it.

It's been too long...

 

 

We finally got a new camera and I finally found some time to get back at this blog. I've really missed it and with Memorial Day already behind us, it's definitely a perfect chance to get back at it. I took these two photos at bands in the park a couple of weeks ago. We see views like this every day, yet they never get old.

Fiery Night

 

 

 

During our visit to Cozumel, we were fortunate enough to catch a Fire Dance performance. I believe the tradition has Aztec origins. The show was incredible. We could feel the intense heat from several yards away. I can't imagine what it's like for the dancers. They put on quite a show and we'll definitely see them again if given the opportunity.
